New: EMDR Lightbar Kit with Wi-Fi and Touchscreen Controller.

We are proud and excited to introduce our newest lightbar model - 6.0.

Please note that the pictured cases are not included with the kits.

Over a year of focus, engineering, programming, evaluation and finally fabrication was invested into our completely re-designed EMDR lightbar and BLS kits. We took everything we have learned from our research, our earlier models and the generous input from many practitioners to re-imagine what our ideal lightbar should be while challenging ourselves to maintain our design fundamentals: effectiveness, ease of use and value. We worked diligently to offer a basic lightbar kit at only a slightly increased cost over our previous basic lightbar kit and still far less then our competition.

Major improvements include:

• A vastly simplified system with fewer parts and pieces.
  
• The desktop/lap controller is now separate from the lightbar and has it’s own 3.5” color touchscreen display, replacing our old IR remote control and small display on the lightbar.
  
• The new touchscreen display has full functionality control vs. the simplified control offered by our past remote control system.
  
• Because the controller is now separate from the lightbar, you can now use our new tappers or headphones without a lightbar if you choose.
  
• A completely re-designed light bar with a housing made entirely from nearly indestructible aircraft grade aluminum which also includes many more LED’s for even smoother scrolling.
  
• An improved, more intuitive phone/tablet/laptop WiFi interface.
  
• New tappers/buzzers designed for extreme consistency and utilizing an industrial grade cable, designed to withstand many years of use, even by clients who may be rough on equipment.
  
• A wired headphone port in case you prefer to use the simplicity and reliability of wired connections over bluetooth headphones - the controller still offers bluetooth as well if desired.
  
• Very high quality, custom made, industrial grade cables to withstand many years of use.
  
• Please note that our new model is still primarily wired/cabled to help keep our prices down and reliability high. The controller must be plugged into a wall outlet or a high capacity USB power bank (not included). Both the lightbar and tappers plug into the controller using cables. The improved WiFi interface is still available to operate and control the system from your nearby phone/tablet/laptop browser (not included).
  
• Affordable, custom fitted storage cases! We will soon be offering two fitted storage case options (pictured), one case for the lightbar system, and a smaller case if you only use tappers and/or headphones. Unfortunately, production of the cases was held up due to the trade war, our first batch of cases is in production now and will hopefully be arriving at our Seattle location in February 2026. We are so excited about our new model that we decided not to delay it’s release while waiting for the overdue cases, so we are currently shipping 6.0 kits without cases but with our standard fabric storage bags. Until the cases are available, our kits will be discounted slightly.

Control methods (Touchscreen Controller or WIFI using your phone/tablet/laptop):

You can choose to operate the lightbar from it’s WIFI based interface using your phone/laptop/tablet, or you can use the wired touchscreen controller. The phone pictured in the product pictures is used to illustrate the WIFI control and is not included with the lightbar.

Modes:

The lightbar has two primary modes, “EMDR” - which scrolls until paused, and “Cycles” - which scrolls until an adjustable number of cycles is completed and then automatically pauses. The light itself can be operated as traditional scrolling or saccade.

Tappers:

The tappers, which are available as an accessory, have both a tap (vibrating) function and an audio buzzer function. These functions are synced with the lightbar (if you choose to use them together) and can be operated without a lightbar connected. The tappers are corded with a single industrial grade cable that must be plugged into the controller. The tappers and cable are provided with a reusable cable tie.

Headphones:

Bluetooth headphones can be connected to the controller and will play an audio tone synced with the lightbar in the right and left ear. Most Bluetooth stereo headphones with a fast response time will work with the lightbar, gaming headphones typically meet the Bluetooth speed requirements for proper syncing. Alternatively, you can connect wired stereo headphones directly to the controller for reliability, accurate syncing and simpler setup. We sell inexpensive and proven rechargeable Bluetooth stereo headphones as an available option.

Client Profiles:

You can choose to save and load your own or client specific profiles.

Cycles and Countdown/Countup:

When using Cycles mode, the user can set the number of cycles run until automatically paused. When a cycle is running, an easy to read countdown is displayed on both the touchscreen controller and the WIFI interface.

User selected settings

Frequency (speed):

The frequency adjustment has a very wide range of 0.10-2.0Hz in increments of 0.05 Hz, tappers/buzzers and headphones function to a maximum frequency of 1.5Hz. Default is 0.80Hz and 1Hz.

Color:
Blue, Purple, Magenta, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, White. Default is Blue.

Light movement type:
Light movement default is standard scrolling but can be set to saccade if desired. The lightbar can be disabled if you choose to only use the tappers/buzzers or headphones.

Cycles:
The number of cycles are adjustable in cycle mode from 10-50 round trip cycles and can be used with or without tappers and/or buzzers. Default is 40 cycles.

Lightbar Brightness:
The brightness range from 1-10 is suitable for a dim room to a bright environment. Default is 7.

WIFI Interface Detailed:

The web based interface will work with any WIFI device that has a web browser (phone, tablet or laptop - not supplied). The interface does not require an app or download. The controller generates a local, password protected WIFI access point and hosts a control webpage. The controller does not connect to the internet or your network for security purposes. Stands:

A desktop stand is supplied standard (for use as a desktop stand – pictured) which holds the lightbar about 3.5” above a desk, or an optional full size stand (18-62" height) for use as a floor stand. Pictured in "Optional Tripod" picture. Please be aware that the lightbar mount is compatible with all standard camera tripods with a capacity of at least 3 lbs. - If you already have a camera tripod, it will likely work just as well as our stands.

Tappers/Buzzers:

Vibrating tappers with audio buzzers are available with an industrial grade cable to connect directly to the controller. Pictured in "Optional Tappers" picture.

Headphones:

Bluetooth stereo headphones with a short USB charging cable. Pictured in "Optional Headphones" picture.

Warranty:

The lightbar is warrantied for one year against manufacturing defects and/or defective components.

Free Shipping:

UPS Ground shipping is provided within the contiguous US for free for orders over $100. You can choose to upgrade to a faster method if needed at checkout, however, UPS ground is typically quite fast (3-4 business days) after fulfillment if you live near a large city and/or ship to a business address.
